Hey there, my name is Alex. I'm the owner-operator of RestoFloor LLC. From Europe to New York to Georgia, I’ve spent nearly 20 years working in various service industries—and somewhere along the way, I became completely obsessed with restoring hardwood floors.
Visiting people’s homes every day, I kept noticing the same issue: worn, dull hardwood floors that drastically affected the overall feel and appearance of the home. My own floors were no exception. With two small kids and a dog, the top coat and stain eventually wore off. The surface became dull and covered in scratches, chips, and scuff marks.
That’s what sparked my deep dive into researching the problem and figuring out the best way to fix it. The more I learned, the more I realized how passionate I was about doing this professionally. I sought out skilled people and great teams to learn from. I took my time—testing different techniques and products until I found what truly works. I didn’t want to just do the job—I wanted to do it right.
Once I felt confident and knowledgeable enough to walk into a customer’s home and deliver top-tier results, I began building RestoFloor. (But that’s a whole other story!)
I’ve always loved fixing and building things. I love a good challenging project, I love digging into research, and most of all—I love seeing the final result, something I can be proud of and that others can appreciate too.

Safety
We always choose the best safest products and working techniques for our customers and team members.
When we apply a floor finish it has to be non toxic, low voc, low odor and at the same time most durable product on the market.
When we use our machines we hook up vacuums to it with exceptional filtration system so there is lowest amount of dust particles in the air.
Why choose us
Choosing a right person for the job is important.
Floor refinishing done right requires skills, knowledge and quality products. Lots of thing can go wrong here, to name a few: wax or polish was not completely removed before coating, floor was not abraded enough, debris left before coating, wrong products used to repair, cheap floor finish used... all of these could result to floor finish not adhering properly and it will fail. And there is no easy fix for that - fully sand or replace the whole floor.
