Pine is a soft wood, it scratches and dents easily. We discussed an option to do a sand-less refinishing, but since the floor was in pretty beat-up condition and had wax on it, the difference in price would not be greater then difference in quality of finished product. So we strongly recommended full sand and refinishing. This pine floor turned out so beautiful and full of character!
